"Baby, You Were Born to Eat This Way; Breastfeeding, The Way Nature Intended"

Purpose of Conference:
To inform participants of Baby Friendly Breastfeeding principles and best nursing practices on breastfeeding and skin to skin.

 Participants will discuss evidence based practice and implementation of Babyfriendly in a healthcare organization.
 Participants will review the 10 Steps to Successful Breastfeeding.
 Participants will list physical and metabolic issues of Late Preterm Infants and how they impact breastfeeding
 Participants will list protocols and safeguards that exist at their institution that support breastfeeding for the Late Preterm Infant and mother
 Participants will discuss strategies to implement Evidence Based Practice and Research in Lactation and Support at the bedside.
 Participants will discuss national and State breastfeeding initiatives, highlighting collaborative efforts between agencies and organizations to support healthcare providers and breastfeeding women.
