Speakers:
Jenny Thomas MD, MPH, IBCLC, FAAP, FABM
Dr. Thomas began her medical career 18 yrs ago, she has worked in neonatal-perinatal, internal and pediatric medicine in both community and hospital settings. She is currently employed as a pediatrician and IBCLC at Lakeshore Medical Clinic in Franklin, WI. Her passion for breastfeeding began when she became a mother, an AAP conference in 1999 triggered a professional interest. Since then, Dr. Thomas has been a busy and outspoken advocate for breastfeeding. Dr. Thomas is a fellow of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine, Chair of the Wisconsin Breastfeeding Coalition and Chief of the National AAP Chapter Breastfeeding Coordinators.
Nancy Williams MA, MFT, IBCLC, CCE
Ms. Williams has been providing breastfeeding help and support for 30 years and has been a national speaker for 20. She has been a perinatal educator and consultant since the late 1970's. Her second career is that of a Marriage and Family Therapist. Her passion is to explore the larger picture of the mother-baby dyad in the context of the breastfeeding relationship.
