This conference is intended for physicians, residents, medical students, nurses, nursing students, Lactation consultants, CNM, NNP's, PNP's, Women's Health Nurse Practitioners, Family Practice CNP's , dietitians, community healthcare workers and all who support the breastfeeding dyad.
Please join us as we welcome Dr. Alison Stuebe to Akron Children's Hospital, discussing the following:
1)Breastfeeding: A two-person, single-organ system
2)The impact of birthing practices on breastfeeding
3)Why does it hurt? An approach to breastfeeding associated pain
4)Breastfeeding and Maternal Health: Heart Disease, Diabetes and More.
Dr. Stuebe is an assistant professor of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and Assistant Professor of Maternal Child Health at the Gillings School of Global Public Health. Dr. Stuebe serves a board member and chair of the communications committee with the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine.

Cost: The cost of the conference is $99 until August 12, 2011 and $115 dollars until August 25th. After the 25th of August the price increases to $150.
