The original Lactation Consultant Exam Review / Lactation Management Course, in its 20th season, developed by IBLCE Founder and author of Comprehensive Lactation Consultant Exam Review Linda J. Smith.
The 2011 course will be held March 21-26, 2011 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio and is approved for a total of 45 CERPs.
The Lactation Management and Exam Preparation Course is a comprehensive review of the skills and knowledge needed for evidence-based professional lactation consultant practice. The course will help prepare candidates for the certification examination sponsored by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE).
Six days of instruction and three graded clinical exercises to be completed independently conclude with a practice examination to identify strengths and gaps in skill and knowledge areas. Interactive activities, clinical slides and videos, and skill-building techniques create a uniquely warm and supportive learning environment. This course was the first to be based on the IBLCE Exam Blueprint and is the longest-running course of its kind.
