Teresa Pitman is the author and/or coauthor of twelve published books, in- cluding: “The Ultimate Breastfeeding Book of Answers,” “The Latch and Other Keys to Breastfeeding Success,” both with Dr. Jack Newman; and “Pregnancy and Birth: Making Decisions that are Right for You and Your Baby “ with Dr. Joyce Barrett. Her books have been translated into French, Russian, Portuguese, Japanese and Spanish. Her work has also appeared in numerous periodicals. In 2006, Teresa was named “Woman of Distinction” for the City of Guelph for her work as a LLL Leader. In 2008, Teresa was presented with the “Award of Excellence” for her support of breastfeeding.
